Up for sale is my 1930 Model A Hot Rod Coupe.
It has a boxed Model A frame done nice, smoothe edges and all holes filled in.
Front end is a Super Bell 4in.
drop axle with a Posie Spring.
Front brakes have early Buick finned drums all new hardware and pads.
Ford steel wheels 47 repop caps with Coker ribbed Dirt Track tires that have about 600 miles on them.
Steering is cross steer from a 47 Ford box, good, tight and smoothe.
Motor is a 283 with a Power Glide from a 65 Chevelle.
Runs very good, tranny shifts nice, fires right up with just a turn of the key.
Don’t have to touch the gas peddle! It has a 6 duece set-up on it.
Stromburg 48′s only 2 are used but all have been rebuilt and linkage – fuel line in place.
Rear end is a new Traverse Spring Dana 44.
I installed air shocks to make the ride as smoothe as possible.
New tires on rear.
Steel 1930 body with steel floors and most of the wood has been replaced with steel.
No rust but still needs finish body work or drive it like it is.
It has character! Runs down the road good at 75 – 80 mph with one finger steering it.
