1930 MODEL A COUPE…RUMBLES SEAT…RUNS GREAT

NEW WIDE WHITE WALL TIRES+++GLEAMING CHROME….CLEAR GLASS

FROM THE SOUTH NUNTVILLE, ALABAMA

VIN 50291PSCAL

MILEAGE 14984 showing, I’m sure the car has more, but who really knows.

HISTORY: I bought this car from a older man that lived near Huntsville, Alabama. He loved the car, but had several cars and never drove it. He just had the wheels sand blasted, painted and new Firestone tires put on for almost $2,000. He said he bought the car about 6 years ago and it was restored.

TITLE: Clear Alabama registration of title in hand and has a California VIN, the VIN is the engine number on Model A Fords.

IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? No rust problems, no rusty holes and the underside has no rust issues in the frame or floors.

IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find.

WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a vehicle I like and can sell for a fair market price, I buy it fix a few things and resell.

PAINT: Most people conside the paint show quality, but I’m critical and consider it as good as I would want to drive and enjoy. The paint is nice, but its just super nice drive and enjoy quality, it looks good, but is not a perfect $20,000 paint job. By drive and enjoy quality I mean it shines good, but under a critical eye inspection you will find 3 or 4 touched up chips and very minor defects like some specs in the paint and 1 small place down at the very bottom of the body where some bodywork was done before paint. The body panels are very straight. I’ll say it one more time, the paint is very nice, its just not perfect.

CHROME: All the chrome and bright work is very good, no dulling and no pitting. The bumpers and radiator shell are very nice, the only thing that I see is the inside rings on the door handles have some dulling.

INTEROR: Interior is nice, but not new perfect, it has no smoke smell. The seat bottom is a little loose, I see some wrinkles in the seat cover, it could be pulled thighter. The headliner has some stains, but not loose or ripped.

UNSERSIDE: No rust problems and its clean, I had just washed the car and you can see some water drips on the parts.

GLASS: Clear with no milkey spots and no cracks, the side windows roll up and down good.

TOP and running boards: The rubber on the top and runnning boards is in very nice condition.

SOUND SYSTEM: Roll the window down and hear the engine purr.

AIR CONDITIONING: Roll the windshield out.

ENGINE: It’s a 4 cylinder flathead that runs strong for what it is. It is about as dry as you find, it has no blue smoke and no unwanted rattles.

EXHAUST SYSTEM: Almost new, past owner just paid over $300 for it.

TRANSMISSION: 3 speed manual that shifts as it should, these did not have a synchronized gears.

REAR-END: Original and is in good condition with no whines or growls.

BRAKES: Mechanical brakes, “no juice, no hydraulics”. Past owner just had a new brake job done and I think they stop good.

STEERING: You have to apply pressure to steer the car, but it drive good for a 1930 model car.

WHEELS AND TIRES : 5 new Firestone tires, the rims where just sandblasted and painted, new hubcaps.

LIGHTS and wiring: They all work and the wiring is good!

HORN WORKs! amp gauge works, ! THE GAS GAUGE WORKS! The wipers did not work when I turned them on, I’ll check it out.

HOW FAST WILL THE CAR GO! It will go faster, but a good cursing speed is about 40 mph.

.

GUAGES: Amp gauge works, fuel gauge works.

HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? I think they open and close good! Model A Ford doors are made to hang over in the back edge , this is the way they came from the factory.

WOULD THIS CAR DRIVE HOME? I think it would drive to anywhere you want to, but I highly do not recommend it. I have drivin the car locally and it does good, but I have not taken a long trip in it.

WORST DEFECTS AND PROBLEMS: These are just what I remember off the top of my head! 1. a touched up chips in the paint 2. Wiper is not working, 3. Some wrinkes in the bottom seat. 4.Probally something else I missed.

BEST THINGS ABOUT THE CAR! It looks great, it drives great, you do not have to do a thing if you don’t want to.

All of the cars listed are from various websites around the internet all the listings have a link to the site with the vehicle for sale.
