this is a real roadster (not a cut coupe ) originally the build started 1961 and licensed in 63 it ran a tri power 312 with a 3 spd standard used as a daily driver then in 67 race prepped with a 312 dual quad 345 hp slicks and a roll bar raced at windsors drag strip ( now gone ) also detroit drag strip ( also gone ) then it was sold to a woody allen look a like who owned the car for a few years who sold it off to go to work in Hollywood the owner had it till 80 when it was sold off to finance upholstery shop then from there i lost track but between 1980 and 1993 when the upholstery shop owner tracked it down and bought it back it was painted orange and had much of it chromed rims tires & upholstery were changed unfortunately the car caught fire in 95 burned off the paint , destroyed the int the floor the dash and the wiring so now the car has been sitting for awhile other details about the car are the frame looks to be a 36-40 ford zzd also 40 ford front axle i have new brake shoes & wheel cyls ford 9″ with new coil springs and brakes also has ladder bars the car comes with 272 y block w/ 312 heads chrome headers & side pipes also chrome oil pan & valve covers tri power intake (edelbrock ) & carbs the org 3spd as well as a s 10 4 speed fits nice s\w vintage gauges ( tach speedo oil temp amp ) 2 steering columns old 50s ford and a 55 chev pu with self cancelling turn signals 3 steering boxs new 1\4s, rear pan, trunk lid, upper panel above trunk lid other items include new gas tank ,windsheild , int door handles ,new slave cyl new master cyl used early van seats (white) org 41 chevy taillights, dash mirror 4 w\w tires (old) im sure there are some things im forgetting overall this car is much like it was in 62 still has the same 32 rad shell with tube grill same y block its had for years good for a vintage restore or rat rod it most of the parts are there this is a period car not a car made to look like one it does need putting together as well as other work depending on what you want the ownership is in my name and states 1930 ford roadster any questions call me at 905 627 1713 On Sep-06-12 at 10:54:34 PDT, seller added the following information: also have mallory dual poin dist with wires the car had org and still have the org roll bar from its racing days just slips in to the pipes in the frame
