Up for Grabs is my 1934 Ford Original Henry Steel 3 Window Coupe that is Bonneville Inspired. Has “The Look” with it’s Leaned Back Post Chopped Top, Louvered Decklid & Quick Change Rear. The Body is super solid with only the Rockers being replaced along the way from what I could tell. The Body is not perfect & does need a little more work but I & scores of people who have seen the car, love it the way it is. Upon getting this body from the previous owner who chopped the Top & Fabbed the Roof Panel, Jacob Garlits in Maryland, the Firewall was modified to fit the Motor & the Magneto of the Small Block Chevy as well as parts of the Floor to accomadate the 4 Bar Rear Suspension as shown in the Pix. The Clam Shell Louvered Decklid is from Steve’s Auto Restoration. Hidden beneath the Deck is an Aluminum Fuel Tank. The 305 Chevy is basically stock with the addition of the Tri-Power Rochesters, Comp Cam, Vertex Magneto & Patriot Headers with Flowmaster Mufflers. The Drivetrain consists of a New Clutch with a McLoed Hydraulic Throwout Bearing, a New Richmond Super T-10 4 Speed Trans with a Hurst Shifter & ending up at a 1 year old Rodsville Quick Change Rear from Culver City Quick Change in Upstate New York using Early Bells with Late Model Flanges & Axles. Chrome Ford Backing Plates Finish off the Rear nicely as well as the Coil Overs. Up front is a Super Bell Axle, So-Cal Shock Mounts with Pete & Jake Shocks. Union Pacific Headlights light the way. Wiring is a Modified Painless Harness. The Steering Column is Stainless with a Removable Steering Wheel & Limeworks Aluminum Drop. The New Radiator is from Walker. The New Grille Shell is from Bob Drake. All this wrapped in a Frame from N & N. The Wheels are 16″ with Firestones all around. Forty Ford Caps finish them off. As you can see in the Pix there are a few items that need finishing off. The Gauges need a Panel, the Battery needs to be relocated to the Trunk in a Box, the Windshield Frame & Glass, & Rear Window. I really didn’t plan on putting Side Windows in so that is up to you. The Paint in & out is up to you as well. As I have pictured, I have a Set of Gauges which are S & W Winged Gauges & will be included in the Sale. I have the Windshield Frame which has been Chopped. I have the Window Regulator. I have the Cowl Vent Regulator. All included in the Sale. Another Item that is included is the 8 inch Ford Rear that came out of it when the QC went in.
