I hope 75K is the new price for these old 1934 Fords, but somehow I think the seller has a little bit too high expectations. But I sure hope he gets the sale

This is the story of Al Bartholomew and his dream of a 1934 Ford Hot Rod It was the year 2000 and it was time for Al to start on his dream.
No ’32 roadster for Al — There’s so many they’re (almost) a cliche.
For Al it had to be a ’34 Ford! It was January 2001 when Al found his Arizona beauty — 1934 Ford Cabriolet that was to become his dream Hot Rod.
A nice original car but not perfect and not a Hot Rod.
Then began Al’s quest to build a world class 1950′s era Hot Rod.
Not a Street Rod — a true honest Hot Rod! No fiberglass No billet (well, maybe a little) No disc brakes No automatic No air conditioning and absolutely NO small block Chevy (talk about cliches) Oh no – this was to be straight out of the 50′s.
An all Henry Steel ’34 Hot Rod.
Al acquired parts from near and far.
’40 Ford juice brakes of course Fully dressed flathead with Eddie Meyer heads and intake Two/two’s of course Stromberg’s of course 3 speed manual transmission Al did however want the cockpit to be extra special.
Wilton Wool Carpet, top quality leather hydes for the upholstery.
Even a special Banjo steering wheel.
Al was a master electrician, Al could fix anything.
Al could build anything.
He had built cars before but this was to become his dream.
So began his 9 years of blood, sweat and tears (and a lot of money).
9 years of love! Al was determined to build an exceptional machine and he did! Al burned the midnight oil, Al worked countless hours.
Only top quality parts and the finest workmanship were good enough for Al.
Perfect was acceptable.
And finally those 9 years paid off — everything came together — Al’s dream became reality! A world class 50′s Hot Rod.
Not all stories, however, have a happy ending.
Sadly as the build came to a conclusion Al suffered a dibilitating stroke that eventually took Al’s life.
Al never drove his finished dream.
But time marches on and it’s now time for this fabulous ’34 Cabriolet to become someone else’s dream.
