1934 Ford ROADSTER project car flat head V8 for Sale

1934 Ford Roadster for sale, original body and sweet flathead, needs some love to get it back on the road, but would be a sweet ride when completed for sure !

Seller states:

For Auction is a nice all steel original 1934 Ford Roadster for your next restoration or street rod project.

Body: Original Ford roadster body had rust along the bottom edge and floor.

I replaced the entire floor pan with original from excellent mid western car.

All sheet metal has been sand blasted (properly).

Rust repairs were made to lower body with steel panels all Butt welded.

No overlapping, brazing, gluing or bondo plugging here! Factory joints have been leaded like original.

Original wood has been with replaced with steel in the doors and cowl sides, to assure correct alignment and fit in years to come.

Cowl sides,rear quarter panels, rocker panels, rumble lid have been replaced with die stamped reproductions currently available.

Great care was taken to alighn and gap doors and rumble lid.

Doors latch effortlessly.

All sheet metal is smooth and straight.

It is almost paint ready.

Fender beads are smooth and crisp.

Fenders, gas tank cover, hood, grill are nice originals.

Chassis: The chassis is a nice straight original with all cross members riveted at the factory.

The frame, front and rear suspension has been sandblasted and painted.

Mechanical condition of the front and rear axels are unknown.

Bumpers are original and are painted silver.

Engine is an original 1934 Ford 221 cu.in.V8.

It sat for a long time I removed the heads as 2 valves were sticking and freed them up.

Bore looked good and pistons (dome top) were nice and tight.

Water passages in the motor and heads were flushed with a large pressure washer.

Pan was removed and cleaned.

Engine was painted new wires installed.

It runs quietly and doesn’t leak.

Gas tank is clean and a new fuel line run.

New radiator hoses were also installed.

The car yard drives.

This is an excellent opportunity to have one of the most desirable and valuable early V8 Fords that you can finish the way YOU want it (color upolstery etc).
