Revised Listing1936 Ford V8 Deluxe Roadster with Rumble SeatThe Ford was redesigned for 1936 with a newly-restyled front end and rear fenders.
The Deluxe models (such as this one) had the horns concealed behind screens set into the fender catwalks.
The results were gorgeous.
Of all of the models produced that year, among the most desirable (and lowest production) were the Deluxe Roadster, with just 3,862 produced in 1936.This particular Roadster has been collector-owned for many years and received a full restoration about 10 years ago.
Recently, it has been refreshed with areas of paint, a LeBaron-Bonney top (with side curtains) and interior.

When restored, a rebuilt 1937 Ford 21-stud V-8 engine was installed, with the advantages of a higher capacity water pump, larger insert bearings and cast-alloy steel pistons, which were not available in the 1936 engines.
The car has also had hydraulic brakes added for safety.
