This IS an original steel car! The car is like a rolling time capsule.
It was restored/resto-modded back in the 1970s.
This is a true nostalgic hot rod!As for the body we have a very nice and very solid STEEL body.
The sheet metal on the exterior, interior, and undercarriage is great shape for its age.
The paint does have minor flaws considering the age of the paint but it still shines up great.
The passenger window does have a few cracks and can be seen in one of the photos.
The true vehicle mileage is unknown.
The drivetrain consists of a mild 355 cubic inch small block Chevy with the normal Hot Rod additions (4 barrel carb, Street Dominator intake, mild camshaft, and much more), a TH350 automatic transmission, and a chevy 10 bolt rear end.
The suspension consists of a Pete & Jake’s solid front axle and a mono-leaf style rear.
The interior is still original to the 1970s resto and consists of a red and white velvet style seats and door panels.
The original wood dash and original “Banjo style” steering wheel are still in place.
The original speedometer still works and all the other necessary gauges are in the console next to the shifter.
The car does have a fully functioning R-12 Vintage air style air conditioning system to keep you cool on those hot summer days.
The car rides and drives great.
It makes good power, shifts when it’s supposed to, and steers great with no abnormal play.
These cars are getting very hard to find with it being an ALL STEEL ORIGINAL car.
This car is in great shape for it’s age and could be taken to shows 100% as it is but it would also be a great cruiser or a perfect platform to update for that modern hot rod look.For any further questions you may contact Matt at 615-364-4835.
