Seller states:
This rare 1941 Cadillac Convertible Coupe is a “Full Classic” as defined by Classic Car Club of America. Only 3,100 convertibles coupes were put into production that year. This Harley Earl design was new for 1941, but is unique in that it was the only year with the striking “blind quarter” design.
The finished restoration was completed in 2011. The Engine is a 346 cid cast iron block L-head V8 with hydraulic lifters, Stromberg two-barrel carburetor, and 150 bhp. This was also the first year for the Cadillac Hydramatic transmission. The brakes are four-wheel hydraulic drums.
With it’s whisper quiet motor, smooth shifting transmission, this Classic takes you back in time while enjoying a comfortable ride.
Restoration includes:
×Engine and transmission was rebuilt a few years prior by previous owner.
×Paint stripped to bare minimal. Base coat / clear coat. Color sanded and polished to high gloss finish. All of which completed this year.
×Full leather interior, glove soft German leather interior. Black with maroon piping. Rolls Royce Wilton carpet trimmed in leather.
×New Hartz canvas convertible top with maroon piping and glass quarter window. Inside of convertible top has all new chrome as well.
×Triple plated chrome buffed and polished.
×New Rhode Island wiring harness.
×Complete brake job and all new suspension.
×New exhaust system. New porcelain exhaust manifolds.
×Optima battery.
×Rebuilt carburetor, starter, regulator.
×New recast steering wheel.
×Fender skirts with all new medallions on hub caps as well.
×New 4 ¼” Firestone wide white walls.
×The underside is clean but not show quality.
