Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This stunning 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible is finished in Tan with a Brown Leather interior.
It underwent a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration just over ten years ago.
This included new paint, interior, rebuilt engine (1948), chrome, rubber, wiring, glass, convertible top, and everything else that you would expect of a full restoration.
Since then it has only been used sparingly and gently and still presents beautifully.
Since that time further restoration and maintenance has been performed including rebuilding the original radio, rebuilt fuel pump, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt generator, rebuilt water pumps, rebuilt heater, new brakes, new Firestone tires, new steering wheel, new Optima battery, new electric fuel pump (in addition to the original fuel pump which functions properly), new trunk panels, new convertible top boot, new brakes (including hoses) and more.
The car drives as good as it looks.
It starts easily with no smoke or unusual sounds and it idles smoothly.
The transmission shifts smoothly and the car stops in a straight line when braking.
It rides exactly the way it should.
The sale of the car includes a car cover, the original owners manual & envelope, and a complete file with all maintenance records and receipts.
The car is available for inspection by calling Steve at 516-524-4102.
I am happy to assist with overseas shipping.
The reserve is set below the “Buy It Now†price, but I do not wish to disclose the reserve, so I would respectfully request that you not ask.
The car is very realistically and competitively priced for a car in this condition.
If you want to know “what it will take to buy the car now†please use the “Buy It Now†price.
Thank you.
