Seller states:

This 1950 Ford coupe is ready to drive.

Must sell to finish house.

This car is NOT finished but little needs to be done.

Car is bagged and lays on the frame in rear with a Gambino c-notch.

New axels, rear end rebuilt at same time as install.

Front end has new brakes and rebuilt steering box from Dennis Carpenter.

New brake lines front to back.

New firestone bias plys.

Motor is Chevy 350.

Gone through, tuned up and runs perfect.

Holly carb.

New one wire alternator.

New fuel pump.

New water pump.

New exhaust with cherry bombs — sounds killer.

Tranny is a 350 turbo with a Lokar shifter.

New yellow top Optima battery.

Front seat, back seat and rear door panels are newly upholstered, but the rest of the interior is not done.

All wiring that is done is new, but none of the gauges are hooked up and no turn signals.

But front lights hi and lo are newly wired up and brake and rear running lights work perfect.

This Ford is a mix of 50′s traditional custom with wide whites, chromies, low stance [car will raise 6" in rear and 7 1/2" in front, plenty for a big speed bump] shaved body, spot lights, tuck and roll interior, heavily pinstriped — and 60′s California low rider with paneled, laced, candied and flaked roof matching green tinted glass (not windshield), door knob grill and diamond tuck interior.

The roof is shiny, and the bottom has a semi gloss.

This car is not a rat rod throw together.

I built this car to look good and drive ANYWHERE.

  1. This car – in my opinion- needs some refinement. I like several things about it though including the firewall and the green glass and top. But — it’s a ford… why a chevy engine! Use a 302 man!! And where is the trunk at? I guess maybe you needed somewhere to stuff the hydraulics but its nuts when you can pop the trunk and see the differential. Slap in some carpet and door panels though and I think it would be a gem.
