Seller states:
1950 ford custom coupe in great running , driving and stopping condition.
This is a true businessmen coupe with a rear platform to store goods , instead of a rear seat.
The car has been driven on good days and has always ran cool and performed well.
The car had been all gone through 8-10 years ago and then driven and enjoyed on weekends.
Engine is a 8ba flathead w/ duel carbs, finned aluminun valve covers, fenton headers with dual smithy’s exhaust and mallory ignition.
Engine is clean ,runs cool, sound great and is a true hot rod performer.
Trans.
is a stock 3 speed on the column and holds all gears and no whines or issues.
Brakes are all stock and work as well as many modern cars I have driven.
Suspension has been lowered 2″ w/ blocks and it rides very smooth.
Electrical is still 6 volt system with a newer 6 volt optima battery and oversized battery cables.
Cranks over as good as a 12 volt system.
Interior has been redone including headliner,carpet and redone/rebuilt seat frames and new seat and door panel upholstry.
Body is in good shape , paint holds a shine and good chrome.
I would say it is a 10 ft.
car and there are some slight scratches and chips.
I always get compliments on it’s appearance, but do not expect a show car trophy.
Underside does have some rust issues in the typical body mount outriggers.
The trunk pan, spare tire well, fenders and frame are all in excellent condition.
I have priced the reserve to reflect these minor body and rust issues.

Everything is running smooth and car is a pleasure to cruise around town.
In one of the pics the left front lower fender has some bubbling in paint, but inspect other photo’s and you can see the car is in good shape just showing wear from being an older restoration.
My wife reminded me that the auction ends on Easter Sunday and if anyone has an issue with bidding on Sunday please call me to discuss other options.
