1950 FORD CUSTOM 2 DOOR.

One of a kind 1950 Ford Shoebox for sale by owner.

3 year project..started with very solid frame and body 50.

The car features a chopped top ( 4 1/2 inches in the front , and 6 inches in the back) with laid down stock rear window….Chop executed by “TOMMYCHOPS ” of eastern Long Island.

Rolled rear pan, custom nose, shaved door handles / 60 lb solenoids…(comes with electronic openers..not installed).

All new wiring ..(painless wiring harness).

The FORD is lowered 4 ” in the rear , air bags in the front (air-bagit.com)..new compressor, 4 gal air tank..dual valve control switch…etc….AND, new shocks all the way around.

Brakes are stock Ford drums ..all new shoes , cylinders, lines hoses…PLUS a new MASTER cylinder.

Under the hood …..

a generation I (mid 70′s) 350 chevy completely rebuilt by “MR.

TOOLS” of New Suffolk N.Y.

engine bored 30 over and has a mild cam (sounds GREAT through the custom exhaust with 3 1/2 ” FLOWMASTERS) Less than a thousand miles on complete rebuilt ..everything new….edelbrock 650 cfm carb..

alternator, distributor, mini starter..also new aluminium radiator with dual cooling fans.

Trans is a turbo 400..

custom drive shaft..with stock Ford rear.

New 22 gallon gas tank (in trunk).

Inside the car..sound deadening panels installed, then a beautiful new interior, carpet and headliner by PIRATE UPHOLSTERY.

New 3 gauge cluster and tach.

Custom (hand grenade) on floor mounted shifter..Sound system is outstanding..KENWOOD cd/mp3..

with a 1200 watt power amp, two 12″ Rockford Fosgate sub woofers…2 6×9 and 2 6 1/2 ” pioneer speakers.

Paint is by “RT CUSTOMS” and is HOT ROD FLATZ COPPER PEARLE.

Tires are brand new FIRESTONE 6.70×15 wide whites..front caps are 59 Lancer with custom center bullets, and beauty rings in rear.

The car runs beautifully ..cruzes down the road at 60 with no problems..smooth shifting.Took the car to one car show this summer and won the peoples choice award..and YES the trophy WILL be included !! The car will be sold to the highest bidder over very reasonable reserve.
