Up for sale is a Hard to Find TRUE 1955 150 Post Car.
Car has a 355 SBC w/ Speed Pro Forged pistons, Double Hump Heads with 2.02/1.60 valves, Crane Gold roller rockers, Comp Cams solid flat tappet with .532/.555 Lift 285/295 Duration, Edelbrock Victor intake with Edelbrock Carb, All MSD Ignition (Ignition box, Distributor, Wires and Coil), Hooker Super Comp Ceramic Coated Fenderwell Headers with Car Chemistry Inserts.
Car has a freshly rebuilt M-21 Muncie 4 Speed with Hurst Competition Shifter with a RARE Hurst Reverse lockout from the 60’s.
Trans maybe has 300 miles on it.
Also installed at that time was a Lakewood safety bellhousing, Zoom Clutch, McLeod Hydraulic throw out bearing with a wilwood clutch master cylinder.
Rear end is a Gm 10 Bolt with pumpkin style housing packed with 4.10 gears and a posi.
Tires and rims are new, Torq Thrust D 15×4 w/ Firestone 640×15 up front, Torq Thrust D 15×7 w/ 28â€x8â€x15†Hurst Cheater Slicks on the rear.
Car has disc brakes up front and drums on the rear.
I have the original drum brakes for up front that go with the car.
The body is very straight and solid for the year.
The floor pans do have rust and is the worst part of the car.
Interior is in great shape.
Has radio delete, RARE Don Garlits Dixco Tach that is in perfect shape and auto meter gauges.
Also has a vintage EELCO gas tank on the front.
The fuel Tank and lines have all been replaced.
Car overall is in great shape.
The paint is starting to show its age but is looks great from a couple feet away.
The car is a blast to drive and turns heads everywhere you go.
It is set up like an early 60’s style gasser.
I have all the inner fenders that go with the car that I took out for that gasser look with the fenderwell headers.
