Wow, where do I begin, I’ll start with this.

You are looking at a opportunity to own one of the most famous drag cars of all time ! This car was built by the mad man, “Jim Lytle” himself to regain his legacy and get his car out to the public’s eye once again.

Jim’s original “Big Al” was out of his reach being displayed in a museum in Florida, so he built this one to tour the Country.

This car is known as, “Big Al” #2 Jim did tour this car and had always dreamed of seeing it run the strip, unfortunatly Jim passed away in December of last year before it was finished to drive.

The new owner and caretaker of this famous car is offering it to someone who can finish it and then we can see it run in Jims memory.

There is still small items to complete, such as.

clutch, wiring, carburation, oil & water tanks to be hooked up.

It would be worth the effort to see this run the strip ! Jim stated this was a very low hour engine and ready to run after hooking up the needs as discribed.

These Allison 1710 V12 engines are becoming quite scarce due to use of them in racing.

We are going to set the opening bid at the engine cost and let the “legacy” take it from there.
