Offered here for your consideration and bids, is a stunning 1953 Buick Super Mild Rod Convertible. This example is an eye-popping beauty and has received a total body-off-frame restoration with less than 2,000 miles since completion. The car runs a 454 V/8 matched to a 400 transmission and a 12 bolt Chevy rear-end; power steering; power brakes; all new springs, shocks and wiring; manual windows and hydraulic soft convertible top. The upholstery is genuine Connelly Leather and is extremely sharp and handsome. The stock radio was being restored at the time of the photographs with modern components and will be later installed.
Condition: Beautiful car, needing nothing but to be driven, shown and enjoyed. The body, chrome and paint (Sinfully Cinnamon, by House of Color) is simply awesome.
The interior is beautiful. The engine and bay are clean, detailed and dry. The undercarriage is as clean and detailed befitting the exterior of the vehicle. A flaw/scrape in the paint was noticed on the P/S back wheel well and a chip on the lower rocker by the D/S door. (see photos). These flaws are very minor in my opinion. If you are an absolute perfectionist, a reputable shop could surely repair them.
