Ok today is my Birthday and so I spent the day doing what I love looking at and talking about cars. This is car week in Monterey a whole week of car shows and vintage racing Auctions and events, finishing with the big Concourse De Elegance. by far and away the best car show week anywhere in the world Hands down.

Strangers Car Show Pictures and Coverage 2012

Today I rallied the 36 Roadster over the big hwy 17 mountain again. Even though it again had Heating issues I made the trip successfully. What an amazing day !! So many awesome cars and the best people ! I have to say Strangers car show is one of my favorites to attend each year. The venue and huge family Barbecue are awesome the Show is set in an made up old town park full of buildings from the early 1900 from all over the Silicon Valley. they moved them all there and set up a little town rescued building to go wit the rescued cars. It really is perfect. Has the Vibe of the old Paso Robles Show. There were a couple insane mercs. Some really Beautiful Cadillacs. A bunch of great traditional Rods. and a grip of cool Customs. As well as a few old Drag cars to round off the Lot. Bitchen old Trucks. Anyway thanks so Much to the Strangers for putting this awesome show on, looking forward to going to many many more !!!

Santa Cruz Woodies on The Wharf 2012

Spent the day at Woodies on the Wharf, got the old 1941 Ford woody out of the garage and drive it down to the wharf today. Good turnout of Awesome Woodies a few caught my eye as usual, to me the Star of the show was a Mercury wagon with an Ardun engine in it. Very very cool. Saw tons of my local town car buddies wandering around and checking out all the Wood Buicks, Packards, Ford, Chevy, Rolls, Pontiac, Dodge, Chrysler, Desoto, there was a very nice variety of cars, with lots and lots of traditional and original cars. All in all a Perfect day ! Here are the photos I snapped of todays event.

Santa Maria Show Photos

My buddy Frederic and I have been going to the West Coast Customs show for 12 years or so now I think he has been going for 15 or more. I was not going to go this year, as I had a lot of plans for this weekend, but when Frederic called up and said when are we leaving, I made the call to drive down for the day check out the cars hang out with some friends and watch the Cruise in the night. Frederic has a bitchen 1951 buick that we have driven many times to Paso/Santa Maria, and instead of driving 2 cars we decided best to hang out and talk smack than driving alone. So we got the Car out of the garage and rallied to Santa Maria, about a 4 hour drive from home. The car is awesome and drives really well. Got to Santa Maria and started feasting my eyes on what I call Car Porn. Anyway sweet ass rides everywhere ya looked. Something for everyone whatever you might be into. Here is a couple hundred pics I snapped and a video, I didnt really go through and sort them so its just raw footage of the West Coast Santa Maria Car show. Enjoy!
