1951 CUSTOM MERC 327 V-8 for sale

I like the 6 carb setup on the engine, I would change the interior a bit if it were my ride, a little too modern for me but cool ride none the less.

Seller states:

EGGLESTON KUSTOMS’ “PANIC ATTACK”

1934 FORD COUPE

This wild little coupe started it’s life as a 34 2 door sedan. On June 3, 2011 it started it’s transformation into what you see today. All of the existing 2 door sheet metal was used to create this coupe with the exception of the very rear sections of the quarter panels (oem 34 coupe rear quarter sections were used) and the trunk lid (which is fiberglass). The top has been chopped 3″ and still allows for plenty of headroom. It is sitting on a 34 Ford frame that has been boxed.

Seller States:

Here is my 1931 Model A sedan. If you don’t want attention and don’t have time to stop and talk to all the gawkers, than this is NOT the car for you!

This car is insane and will get more attention than anything else on the road. Car needs nothing and is a blast to drive!

Specs on the car:
Original 1931 Paint/patina
Chopped 7″
Sectioned 4″
Channeled 4″
Car sits 40″ tall when laid out, yet gets enough lift out of rear bags that it is easy to cruise around. Gets about 6″ of lift if not more! Everything is built above lower crossmembers so nothing drags that can be destroyed.
2 tralier balls are incorporated into rear frame and allow body to sit flat on ground and drag without destroying much! Great for cruising around the show grounds.

Front suspension is suicide style with 40 ford dropped axle and drum brakes and traditional style cowl steering that consist of a 1979 Ford 2wd gearbox flipped/reversed.
Rear has 9″ ford with 3.55 gears (POSI) and parallel 4-link with bags, 1/2″ ariline and fittings. Panhard bar on rear as well. This car is DONE RIGHT!
Frame is stretched and totally custom and boxed all the way through with lightening holes on the front frame horns as they taper to the front axle. Same goes for Radius arms as well.

Interior has 31 ford dash but everything else is custom, including seats, rear hatch panel that allows easy access to rear area which is keyed for security. The Chrome VIAIR compressor and 3 gallon tank as well as the battery are behind the seats and accessible through the hatch area.
FatMat sound deadener in doors, floors, rear cab.
Custom tunnel, with polished Diablo Hurst shifter and more
Quick release Metalflake steering wheel
Chrome COBRA style gas cap in roof
Hidden and Keyed Battery Disconnect Switch
Hinged and Tinted front window so you can let all the cool air in
Completely removable (snap) roof canvas, with V8 logo custom made into top
Custom pinstriping all over (inside and out)
Custom 1937 Dodge tailights and 1933 Ford Commercial headlights
Tinted glass all around except no door windows (Car has temporary lexan side glass) with working regulators. I have window channels for the car but they are not installed.
17 gallon fuel cell hidden in rear with metal bracing and support all around

Car LAYS hard…
Wheels and tires are BRAND NEW Polished Rocket Racing Wheels (15×4.5/15×10) mounted on BFG Silvertown Radials with FAT Whitewalls (195′s on the front and 285/70/15 on rear). Looks NASTY!

SBC 350 with mild build, polished goodies, chrome 100 amp alternator, mount, chrome pulley and more
Polished Overflow
Electric fan (runs 190 all day long)
Custom Aluminum Mustang radiator painted and filled for a Chevy Motor
1931 Chrome Ford Grill with International insert to protect radiator
Thermal Coated Headers with removable baffles and much more…

I know I am forgetting to list some things but the car has it all and will not disappoint! Everything works including lights, horn, gauges and more.
I could go on and on but I won’t right now. If you are seriously interested then please let me know.

Also, I am 6’3″ tall and fit comfortably in this thing. You can cruise it all day long!

The only BAD thing I can list is the Transmission has a leak if the car sits for a while. I am rather certain the pan just needs a new gasket. That is an easy fix! So don’t let that scare you away from missing out on the awesome machine… Good luck on bidding. The reserve is FAIR and I really don’t want to give a buy it now price. If you have an offer, please feel free to contact me through ebay and make an offer but be realistic or be ready for me to say NO. This car is not a thrown together piece of crap. I don’t call it a Rat Rod for that reason. It is in all forms a HOTROD! This car was built very nicely and if you have seen the car in person, you know this!
