Seller states:
1934 ford Woodie station wagon that has been stored since 1951 in the San Fernando Valley. Originally this car was from Boulder, Nevada and was brought to California in 1951. Much of the original tan paint shows through the worn off spots on the 60+ year old exterior repaint. Dash paint is original. Very solid floors for the most part, but there is some rust through in the rockers from wood moisture and also some under the drivers seat towards the back. Cowl is rust free and in amazing condition. Hood and sides are in very good condition. Fenders are useable but will need repair. The original flathead runs very well and does not smoke. Carb was cleaned out, points were set, and she fired right up. Runs flawlessly and does not smoke. Shifts great with no grinding, stops alright. We just put about 25 miles on her last weekend at the LA roadster show putting around. I even drove it home to the hotel one night and had her up to 45mph on Arrow highway. Wood is original for the most part but has had repairs prior to its storage in 1951. Most of the hardware and all of the latches are intact. Wood is all there, but pretty rough. Amazingly all of the doors open and close well along with the tailgate. It is actually still pretty sturdy. All of the seats are original and retain original coverings except for the front seat back which was covered with a fine mexican blanket. Great restoration project, or can be used as a ranch putter as -is. One of only 2900 ever built. Comes with original title from 1948 along with a few other documents from the era.
