1934 FORD COUPE
This wild little coupe started it’s life as a 34 2 door sedan. On June 3, 2011 it started it’s transformation into what you see today. All of the existing 2 door sheet metal was used to create this coupe with the exception of the very rear sections of the quarter panels (oem 34 coupe rear quarter sections were used) and the trunk lid (which is fiberglass). The top has been chopped 3″ and still allows for plenty of headroom. It is sitting on a 34 Ford frame that has been boxed.

This stunning 1955 Bel Air 2 door hardtop was built by the king of kustoms himself, George Barris. As you can see the body has been highly customized with 55 Pontiac bumpers, 55 corvette grill, 54 chevy wrap around park lights, 55 packard frenched tail lights, louvered hood, and much more. The body is arrow straight with an excellent fit and finish. All seams and body alignments are true, car is very tight all over. The paint is very slick with a high gloss finish and with consistent depth throughout the paint. All chrome, glass, and weatherstripping are in excellent condition. The drive train consist of a small block chevy 350 with tri-power, offenhauser aluminum intake, chrome water pump and generator and is backed by a muncie 4 speed transmission. The rear axle is the original with a 3.36 gear ratio. Other features include disc brakes, air conditioning, power antenna, remote trunk release, undercarriage lights, lake pipes, flame thrower tail pipes, custom fender skirts, and wire wheels with new white wall radial tires. The interior has been completely finished in a rolled and pleated custom design with the dash also being covered. All new carpet, headliner, polished dash inserts, AM-FM cassette, and 60 Impala steering wheel. This is an extremely solid car on the road with an excellent ride. The car does not have power steering but will amaze you how easy it is to turn. I drove the car for two days and thought it had power steering until I looked closely under the hood and I could not believe it. You can easily turn the wheel with one hand sitting still. The transmission shifts like butter with absolutely no slop or grinding and the clutch is easy on the leg. You won’t find a better driving led sled than this one. She is ready to go and show.

This is a 1934 Ford roadster that was built by Paul Herman, owner/operator of The Body & Soul Shop in Gallatin TN. If your into early hot rods then you know the name and know his workmanship is one of the best in the business. This car was built, sparing no expense, with extreme detail in every aspect of the vehicle. The body is by Outlaw Performance and sits on a custom chassis with Mustang II style front suspension with power disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and 4 link rear suspension which houses an 8 inch Ford rear axle. Adjustable coil-overs are at all four corners. The engine is a GM 350 4 bolt main with a 3 deuce carburation system, Mallory ignition, aluminum intake, and headers. The transmission is a muncie 4 speed with hydraulic clutch. Complete exhaust system is HTC coated. The body is laser straight with a perfect fit and finish and the paint looks like you could fall over in it, consistent depth and shine. Stock 34 four part hood with top louvers and stock 34 grill. Other stock features include headlights, front and rear bumpers, and door and trunk handles. The interior keeps true to the traditional hot rod look with red and white rolled and pleated door panels and seat. Carpet is red wool with white stitch trim. All gauges and tach are black face Stewart Warner, All wiring provided by Painless Wiring. Other interior features include a 59 Impala steering wheel, AM-FM cassette stereo with power antenna, and emergency brake. The white convertible top is fabricated from a 59 corvette top and along with the windshield have a 2″ chop. There is also plastic side windows that come with the roadster. This is one awesome car all over and the quality of the build is top notch. Not only does the car look amazing it handles the road like a dream, very easy and smooth to drive. Car needs nothing and is ready to show and go.
