Awesome Special race car 1957 Devin Special
I love these and intent to own one some day, (Specials) were awesome often home built race cars that could hold their own against many of the production cars of the day. I could see this car racing around Pebble beach back in the day. Excellent.
Hello, and thank you for checking out our auction for this spectacular 1957 Devin Special, built using a 1954 Triumph TR2 chassis. This Devin can be enjoyed on the track, and is currently registered for street use.

This Devin has been been carefully refreshed in 2006, and has been exhibited at the Meadowbrook Concours d’Elegance and the Glenmoor Gathering, with an award at Glenmoor. Raced at Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta SVRA races including the Pittsburgh VSCCA street race. 3 class wins and one second place. Finished 6th overall in sports racers combined with formula juniors at the Pittsburgh street race.
