It makes me Happy When they keep the interior kind of plain, and dont put bucket seats and giant till columns in it, to me that really detracts from a car, so this Merc makes me happy.

1950 Mercury period correct mild custom. I bought this car a few years ago and had plans to show this eventually however the Military has kept me far too busy. So far I replaced all the rotted metal work. Car has brand new inner and outer rockers, all new wiring 12v, new wheel bearings, new brakes, new clutch, Fenton Headers, msd ready to run dist, Original Flathead Motor starts right up and runs awesome! Does not smoke and does not overheat. I installed a Oil Pressure and 2 water temp Stewart Warner gauges where the original radio was. 1 H20 temp gauge for the left and one for the right head. New full exhaust, with period correct glass packs , exhaust sounds Amazing! Idles very low and can barely hear it run, but gas it up and you will know whats under the hood. New mechanical Fuel pump, and rod… Basically anything and everything that needed to be done has been done mechanically. I installed new glass, carpet, seats are professionally upholstered. Car is dropped on blocks and has an overdrive 3speed however the overdrive is not wired to 12V at the moment since the solenoid on the original OD trans is 6 volt. However hooked up to the non OD rear in the car it drives at 60mph no prob. There is no AC and the heaterblower motor has been removed. Has 12v wipers just needs arms and wiper blades. I am including a 1 piece modified grill with the sale that you see in the pic when the car was in primer. Also I will include the side trim that needs some straightening and can be installed by new owner. Missing a window crank handle and a few other misc finishing touches. I recently painted the car but its far from show perfect. Paint is chipping at the edges where the hood meets the cowl, and some flaws.

Fun Cheap project, Panamerica ?
Seller states:
Mock up or Recreation.
Rebuilt engine and transmission. New floor panel. Reasonably straight driver.
Originally, a six cylinder car, now 292 Y block with 4bbl. Originally car was light blue repainted to replicate this particular drivers car in 1956 (Dresden Blue and Snowflake white). Vintage decals. Lettering and numbers are paint not vinyl.
Dashboard and interior trim is medium blue color and original, much of the interior is removed. I have the back seat, and it is a upholstered like the front seat. The front seat was was removed for floor panel replacement and has not been fully bolted back down as I have debated putting in carpet.
Three speed column shift, strap was on the dash for holding the car in gear as drivers spead around curves. Has new brakes, shocks and exhaust with straight mufflers and great sound. Motor does not smoke. Roll-bar bolts to floor and not chassis. Radio delete. Last I checked, everything worked such as lights, wipers and horn. Tack does not work or is not connected. Has real nice door threasholds that just screw down with stainless screws. You see those just sitting in the back now.
Stretch rope for hood and trunk hold downs but the car has the latches in place and working. Trim is screwed down with stainless steel screws and simulated plate to bolt to work doors closed. This is what they had to do at the time. Has new fuel tank and exhaust system.
Side exhaust cutouts are simulated and not functional. This car did have rust and there were patch panels in the body but I did not do the work. It was donme a few yeras back and they remain looking good. There have been some touchups to the paint. Some tiny bubbles appearing in the paint behind the rear bumper I include a photo. The brown spots ware just dirt not rust spots.
Drivers door needs adjustment. Hinges are good, door has slight drop when opened. I have chrome valve cover, gaskets and original oil bath air cleaner. Radial tires are very good condition.
1936 Fords are amazing and this one is a fine example.
Seller states: An absolutely superb example of Ford’s 1936 5-window coupe. This “68″ Deluxe model has been exquisitely finished in Washington Blue with Tacoma Cream stripe and mohair interior. Paint, interior and chrome are all in fantastic condition. This classic beauty has retained its original 85 hp flathead V8 motor that runs strong. Very mechanically sound and drives terrific. Factory optioned with rumble seat, dual wipers and beauty rings.
