Everyone has their favorite and for me it changes over time.
My car collection kind of runs all over the place, I love traditional Hot Rods and Customs but also enjoy racing vintage sports cars, I enjoy my Stock classics. I have a Packard , Jaguar and Corvette Roadster. There is nothing sweeter than the sound of my Ferrari Dino, or my 57 Alfa. Like I said I am all over the map, and this site reflects my taste in cars. I enjoy sharing my passion with my friends and really anyone is who is into cars. I want to hear what your fantasy cars are, if you could have anything. The person with the best answer will win a Legendary Shirt, I pick whos got the best answer
Here is a link to Some of my current cars Thanks to all you guys for making this site rock. I love to hear comments it makes me feel like I am connected with the people who read the site.

My ex-wife used to check the N. Y. Sunday Times “Classic Autos – For sale” looking for a ’34 – three window coupe. After watching my reaction to “The California Kid”, she knew that she would be traded for a coupe that I could turn into a clone ..
Love the California Kid what an Iconic Hot rod
My ‘Dream Car’ would have the Style of a Ferrarri, the sound and Power of a Hemi and Zero Emissions of an Electric!
I bet that’s not too far off
I have 2 faves in your collection although 1 is a roadster and I like the hard top version of the 300-SL
The Porsche Carrera race car
AND then I saw that 29 – T ARDUN shucks it hard to say there is only 1
Yeah I know I don’t really have a favorite out of my cars so rthe one I like the most is the one currently running the best
I had a 1934 3 window coupe that I sold when I was 19 and have never gotten over that car. I am now 80 years old and still ream of that car and how I should have ket it. I have had many hot cars in my life ,but this was my all time favorite.A little late to do anything but dream about it.

Sir thank you so much for sharing, I love 1934 fords we are still working on my rebuild, I can not wait to get it finished and back on the road, I love the suicide doors on the 34 and the fancy grill is pretty great also
My dream car is a 1956 2 door Chevy Bel-Air Rag-Top for those nice summer days when you want to drop the top and enjoy the breeze.
I will feature a few of these for you on the site will keep my eyes out
MY BEST AND VERY PREFFERD CAR IS THE 1966 MUSTANG EVERY TIME I SEE ONE ANYWHERE IT REMINDE’S ME OF MY FIRST FIRST CAR BACK IN 1971WHEN MY MOTHER BOUGHT MY FIRST CAR TO GO BACK AND FORTH TO HIGH SCHOOL.
Yes the mustang is an awesome car that is the dreams of millions
My father had a 1955 Chevy when I was 10 years old. I loved that car and always wanted one like it. All through my adult life I’ve had nice cars. ’57 Chevy, ’63 Impala, ’69 GTO, ’72 Monte Carlo, ’87 Monte Carlo SS, ’94 S-10 SS and a whole lot of other beaters. Now my driver is a ’08 Charger w/3.5H.O. Runs nice. All my life, all these cars and never was able to have my dream: Dad’s ’55 Chevy Belair. Now I’m 62, recently retired and I fulfilled my dream. In my garage now sits a white over black, 1955 Chevrolet BelAir 2-door post sedan. Just like Dad’s! Except for the mechanicals. His was 6 cylinder, 3 on the column. Mine is a Corvette 327/375 H.P., Borg Warner T-10 4-speed and 12 bolt 4:10 posi. I upgraded my dream and it shines brighter than a new silver dollar! This summer the fun starts! I’m taking it to the closest dragstrip I can find and fullfilling my second dream! DRAG RACE! ( I raced the ’69 Goat for 3 years.)
That sounds like a ton of fun getting your hopped up ride to the drag strip I also have the need for speed
My dream car would be a Jaguar xk120 I loved it when I was young and I was fortunate to own a 1954 120 some time ago and I regret selling it to this day. That is my dream car and I hope someday to own another,
Yes my xk140 is a ton of fun to drive I love the whining sound it makes in first gear and mine smells like an old leather couch
Wow this are some awesome stories I can tell I am going to have a hard time picking
thanks for taking the time to share with us.
Let’s hear some more stories of dream cars and your chance to win a legendary shirt
If I could have any car to choose it would have to be a 1967 corvette with the 427 cubic inch motor 4 speed red with black interior and the black hood scoop. or a tastefully done 1934 Ford vicky to cruise with all my friends packed in it.
I can totally Dig this, I dont know why I dont have one. The only Corvette I have is the 54, though really I wish I had the 55 with the v8 in it.
My dream car is a 1972 amx javelin that is canary yellow with a T-stipe and black interior. currenty i am restoring a 1972 sst javelin, im trying to convert ir onto an amx but the parts are hard to find and there not cheap. im am currently 15 i started on the restoration with my father in 2010. i love my car to death and i wouldnt ever get rid of it.
Excellent Keep up the good work, Finding the rare parts is one of the best parts of building up your dream car !!
What do you need?
My dream car would have to be a barn fresh 32 Ford Sedan retired dirt track modified with a flathead V8 dressed with Ardun heads.
Wooo Ardun Yes excellent, I have 2 arduns one in a car and one waiting to go in a car
So cool the History of the Ardun and its builder are amazing.
I think that the 1954 Buick Wildcat II is the coolest car ever, and it is definitely my dream car. Too bad only one was ever made…
Yes I wish I had many Prototypes
My Dad had a 1965 impala SS 5 speed overdrive that was white with a red interior. This has always been one of my favorites.
I would definitely have to choose the McLaren F1 LM. Just the last real car before traction control and electronics took all the seat of your pants excitement from the driver. Extremely limited I think only 5 of this variant of the F1 were made. To me it’s the perfect blend of exclusivity, raw power and beauty that make a car desirable. It’s much newer than many of the cars mentioned before. With the price tag it will always remain a dream also
54 studebaker sedan delivery-slant six (modified of course)-modernized suspension electrics etc.
I’ve always been partial to the Looks of the Citroen SM, but the mechanicals are another story. It’s faults are not limited to a restricted, clattery, harsh, underpowered Maserati V6, front drive, complex self leveling hydro-pneumatic suspension and steering, hovercraft like ride.
There must be some SM’s out there not worth restoring to original condition. So if I was to have an ideal project car hell, it would be a completely ruined Citroen SM stripped bare of its mechanicals, all of its hydraulic plumbing pulled out, to be replaced with a modern self-contained air self leveling system over a more conventional suspension, fully independent all around. Thus the ride height and self leveling will still be there, but less complicated and electronically controlled.
It will need some floor pan changes, and some internal tubing built to stiffen it up for the major change: A 6.3 liter, fuel injected M100 V8, sending the power to the REAR (yes) wheels via a 3:1 limited slip differential.
I think that should do it.
Bonjour
I had a 1970 base model Mercury Marauder. I bought this car in Tennessee in the early 80′s and then lost it due to divorce. This is one of the cars i wish i still had.
I have owned over 45 cars in my life so far, and I’m not done yet ! One of the cars I have always wanted is a ’49 Ford 2 door, flathead, just lowered, suede black or primer red, with painted wheels and chrome trim rings and center caps – I live in one of the cities that hosts the Dream Cruise every August, and would love to cruise it… I also would like another ’67 Impala fastback, had 2 so far… and the XK 140 my brother had, with the type “C” dual cam and overdrive would be nice… and finally, a big, bad, ’58 Chrome bucket Buick or Olds – for those classy cruises…. heck, I realise there are a FEW more that are on my list, but these are the top four….
M y Dream Car ya say, eh? Well it would have to be THEE Richard Petty 1970 Plymouth SUPER BIRD! In fact, its this one right here: Just copy and paste this-> http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2b/RichardPettyRoadrunner.jpg <- Yup! That. Frankly, it just doesn't get any better than that there! Look at that CAR! I've dreamed of that car since I was a little boy. Just 5 years old when Richard raced it. Haven't been able to shake it since. True that! And.. HEY! Thanks for asking!
dream me up a Porsche 356 Speedster.
I’m 65, overweight and out of shape… but, there’s a little James in all of us.
